And now we are excited to let you know that we have added ten more individual images-including three images that you have never seen before!

Need for Speed

Pin It Now! Today I'd like to share the birthday card I made for our nephew who will be 9 next week. He is a Missouri fan so I created his card with black & yellow in mind. What boy doesn't like fast cars? Here's what I came up with:

The background was created using aluminum foil & the Houndstooth embossing folder. How fun is that!? I first adhered the foil to a 4" x 5" piece of cardstock using some multipurpose adhesive sheet. The splotch behind the car is from a retired set but I couldn't help using it. I inked up the car using black StazOn & colored it in with Daffodil Delight, Sahara Sand, & Basic Gray marker. I cut it out & popped it up on some dimensionals. The card wouldn't be complete without a sentiment of course so I grabbed my go-to set Teeny Tiny Wishes. Another pretty simple card but I'm sure the birthday boy will love it :)

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by :)

Supply List:
Stamp sets: Need for Speed; Teeny Tiny Wishes; Extreme Elements (Retired)
Card stock: Basic Black; Whisper White; Daffodil Delight

Happy Fall Y'all!

Pin It Now!
Last week I met with some of the spouses of soldiers in my husband's unit & made a bunch of cards for them to have to send loved ones when they deploy in a few months. Some had never stamped before & we all had a lot of fun. The night before I thought about making everyone a little something that they could take home & enjoy for the fall season. I have seen these cute scarecrows all over blog-land, the most recently over at frenchiescraps,  & I've been wanting to make one. Thank you Frenchie for your inspiration :)

What do ya think? Isn't he the cutest? After he was put together I glued him to the front of a Fancy Favor box & stuck some candy in it before handing everyone theirs. We don't do anything for Halloween so I love the fact this little guy doesn't look Halloween-y; I plan on leaving him out until we get our Christmas stuff out :) His hat is made from the Top Note die & notched out using a circle punch. The "straw" is 1/8" strips of River Rock card stock; I spritzed the strips with water & crumpled them up. I would have used a paper shredder but ours doesn't cut paper that way :( But I think he looks good anyway :). His hat is made out of some designer paper from the Summer Smooches pack. I didn't get a picture of it but the box is made using Lucky Limeade card stock. The adhesive that worked the best for this project was the TomBow Multipurpose Liquid glue; I wanted to make sure he stays on his box ;)

Hope everyone's enjoying some fall weather wherever you are :) Have a wonderful week!

Peekaboo ~ Again!

Pin It Now! I love the sketch that they've come up with this week over at Pals Paper Arts & made another Christmas card using the Peekaboo Frames die & Scentsational Season stamp set. The possibilities are endless with the stamp set alone but pair it with the Peekaboo Frames & wow!

For this version I used the  Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder for the background. I also sponged around the Peekaboo frame using Cherry Cobbler ink. The 1 3/8" Square punch created the tails on the banner. I know I mentioned it in the previous post but these are so quick & easy & will be great to whip up in a hurry for a last-minute Christmas card.

Check back in tomorrow for another project. Thanks for stopping by!

Supply List:
Stamp sets: Chock-Full-of-Cheer (sentiment); Scentsational Season
Card stock: Cherry Cobbler; Very Vanilla
Ink: Cherry Cobbler; Gumball Green; Early Espresso
Accessories: Big Shot; Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder; Peekaboo Frames die; Holiday Collection framelits; 1 3/8" Square punch; sponge; rhinestones

PPA145 ~ Sketch Challenge

Pin It Now! Sorry for the lack of posts last week & this week; things just got crazy busy. I was out & about earlier in the week but I was able to get creative yesterday & got a few projects ready to share with you. Yesterday I came across the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge for this week & just had to play along. I have Christmas on the brain lately so of course I made a Christmas card:

When I first saw the sketch I knew I wanted to use the Peekeboo Frames die so I paired one of the frames with the gingerbread man from the Scentsational Season stamp set. You can't really tell from the photo but the gingerbread man is embossed with the new Early Espresso embossing powder & popped up on dimensionals. To create the tails for the banner I used the Curly Label punch to coordinate with the frame. I whipped this up pretty quickly but I'm happy with the results. This will be one of those cards I can do in a hurry if I need a last minute Christmas card :)

I hope I've inspired you to get creative today. Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend! I'll be back next week with some more :)
