Possible Christmas Card?

Pin It Now! Over the past couple of weeks I've been working on a few different ideas for our own personal Christmas cards this year & I've even posted a couple on here. I thought about having 2-3 different designs & making several cards of each since it was hard for me to decide. Well when I showed my husband this card the first words out of his mouth were "Wow! Gorgeous!" Hmmm....perhaps HE just decided for me....?

To start with I ran a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of white card stock through the Big Shot using the new Snow Burst embossing folder (from the new Holiday Mini) then sprayed some Vanilla Shimmer smooch spritz over it. While this layer was drying, I took a piece of 3" x 3 1/2" white card stock & stamped the "star" image from the set "The Sounding Joy" (also from the new Mini) using Basic Gray classic ink. I inked up the sentiment using the Cherry Cobbler craft ink spot & stamped that directly over the "star". I embossed that with clear embossing powder then lightly sponged the edges with Basic Gray ink. Using sticky strip I adhered it to a 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock then set this aside. Taking the large white layer I wrapped a piece of Cherry Cobbler quilted satin ribbon (also from the Mini) down the middle & adhered the ends on the back of the white piece with glue dots before securing the whole layer onto the black card base with sticky strip. The panel with the main image was popped up with dimensionals & then I added a bow with a glue dot.
The inside is dressed up a bit too but I can't share that part ;)

Once again this card wasn't difficult & came together rather quickly. I'm pretty sure this is the winner (well, 99% sure, anyway lol) I better hurry up & make up my mind so I can get to work; I would LOVE to have them all finished by the end of November. Lofty goal??? Hmmm....time will tell! :)

Have YOU thought about your holiday cards? I'd love to help if you have questions or would like to place an order. Have a great week! :)
