Are those real?

Pin It Now! Over the past few days I've noticed the trees have started to get some more color to them; I'm going to have to make sure my camera is always with me from now on so I don't miss the brilliant display :) Although we don't send out very many Thanksgiving cards I've been trying to come up with a design for the few we do send & I really wanted to use colorful leaves so I grabbed my sponges & several ink pads & started to play around with some leaves made using the Autumn Accents die. I didn't know what I was going to use them for until I got them done but then this card came together quickly:
I wanted them to be the main focus so I kept the rest relatively simple. I used a scrap piece of Early Espresso Core'dinations card stock that I had laying around; it had already been run through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain embossing folder. I punched out a scrap of Cajun Craze to layer behind the sentiment & adhered the entire panel to the Crumb Cake base. I kept moving the leaves around until I had them where I wanted them & then I stuck them down.

I just love pairing the Autumn Accents die with the Woodgrain embossing folder; it adds so much texture. I love how this turned out! I'd love to hear what you think. :)
